Real Estate Needs Content Too!

Want to position yourself as a real estate insider? That takes work - and the right content.

Real estate has evolved. Gone are the days when you had to call an agent and schedule an appointment to get the listings. Everything is done with the click of a button or videoconferencing app. Having the right content marketing strategy can leave your competition in the wind while you attract the clients you want. Using the right tools is key.

Here are a few tips:

Think Blog, Not Article

Blogs are more personal, and they bring the customer into your world. You can inject humor and experiment with different writing styles when utilizing a blog, and your existing and potential customers get to see the human side of your business.

Use the right social channels

If you’re a real estate agent and you aren’t using Instagram, something is seriously wrong. You want to go where your audience lives. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and LinkedIn should be on heavy rotation.

Video is everything

That’s right – video is everything. Customers want to be able to click a button and see the inside of the home you’re showing. It doesn’t hurt to add a little conversation to the video so they will know who you are. This also helps to build trust. People flock to the brands they trust.

Be picture perfect

Readers become engaged when they can visually see what you’re selling. You should have tons of clear, crisp pictures on all your social platforms that advertise the homes and other points you discuss in your content.

Be Diverse

Use engaging topics and headlines. In real estate, the topics are endless. Lawn care, staging your home, interior design, hot trends, new colors and appliances are interesting topics that can draw interest. Ultimately, you want to position yourself as the best source.
